Exciting new KS4 education resource from Animal Aid

Video

This thought-provoking video is ideal for stimulating discussion and debate about the way we rear animals for food in Britain today. The movie follows four teenagers with very differing views, as they ask hard-hitting questions about meat. Where does it come from? What is eating it doing to us, the animals and the environment? They uncover the facts that everyone who eats meat should know. Celebrity interviews, animations, vox pops and funky music provide some lighter moments amongst footage filmed down on the farm, at market and slaughter. Not just another depressing campaign film, Eat This! is both educational and entertaining. Available free to teachers, in VHS video and DVD formats, this film is supplied with a pocket-sized teachers' notes booklet containing background information on the issues covered. Video duration 20 minutes.
