Living without cruelty

Much of Animal Aid's work is directed at exposing cruelty to animals. But it is equally important to promote the many different ways in which individual people, in their own lives, can help end animal suffering.

Ordinary, everyday decisions make a difference! We call it Living Without Cruelty (LWC). LWC does not mean you have to become a boring, sanctimonious, lentil-eater! By doing a little research and investing some time and effort you'll soon be able to shop as quickly and conveniently as you did before, your social life won't have to suffer and you'll still look as fashionable as your friends!

To promote LWC, Animal Aid stages special events such as the Christmas Without Cruelty Fayre held annually in December, and we designate every March as Veggie Month.

We also produce our own range of cruelty-free merchandise - available for purchase online now. Our new products for 2005 include Beauty Without Cruelty cosmetics and a delicious range of Cocoa Tree chocolate. Check out our special offers, including price reductions on cruelty-free clothing, dairy-free chocolates and animal-friendly toiletries.
